Offers to Other Museums. Where an accessioned object is no longer required for the Collection and approval has been given by the Council's Executive Committee for its disposal priority will be given to retaining it within the public domain, unless it is to be destroyed. It will therefore be offered in the first instance by gift, gift or sale directly to other Accredited Museums likely to be interested in its acquisition.
