ZONE Is that portion of southern Ontario enclosed (A) a straight line on its south eastern boundary drawn through the eastern limits of the town of and the western limits of the town of and extending to Lake Erie on the south and Lake Ontario on the north. a straight line drawn from the north shore of Lake Erie, through the eastern limits of the town of and the centre of the town of to terminate at the southern limits of the town of Norwich. a straight line drawn from the southern limits of the town of Norwich north easterly through the southern limits of the town of Newmarket to the northern limits of the town of Mount Xxxxxx; then a straight line from the town of Mount Xxxxxx to the southern limits of the town of a straight line from the southern limits of the town of through the eastern limits of the of Port Hope to the north shore of Lake Ontario.   • De-commissioning due to Emergency 17.6.1 If, in the reasonable opinion of the Concessionaire, there exists an Emergency which warrants de-commissioning and closure of the whole or any part of the Bus Terminal, the Concessionaire shall be entitled to de- commission and close the whole or any part of the Bus Terminal to Users and passengers for so long as such Emergency and the consequences thereof warrant; provided that such de-commissioning and particulars thereof shall be notified by the Concessionaire to the Authority without any delay, and the Concessionaire shall diligently carry out and abide by any reasonable directions that the Authority may give for dealing with such Emergency.

  • Occupational Health & Safety (a) It is a mutual interest of the parties to promote health and safety in workplaces and to prevent and reduce the occurrence of workplace injuries and occupational diseases. The parties agree that health and safety is of the utmost importance and agree to promote health and safety and wellness throughout the organization. The employer shall provide orientation and training in health and safety to new and current employees on an ongoing basis, and employees shall attend required health and safety training sessions. Accordingly, the parties fully endorse the responsibilities of employer and employee under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, making particular reference to the following:

  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Act It is understood that payment of income protection is for the sole and only purpose of protecting employees against the loss of income during time of such illness. Seniority and service will accrue and the Employer shall continue to pay its share of the premium for the benefit plans during the period of the income protection noted in this provision.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union agree to cooperate in the promotion of safe working conditions, the prevention of accidents, the prevention of workplace injuries and the promotion of safe workplace practices.
