Common use of Number Assignment Clause in Contracts

Number Assignment. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to, in any manner, limit or otherwise adversely impact NEN's right to employ or to request and be assigned any NANP number resources including, but not limited to, Central Office (NXX) Codes pursuant to the Central Office Code Assignment Guidelines. Any request for numbering resources by NEN shall be made directly to the NANP Number Plan Administrator. Except with respect to those areas in which GTE is the NANP Number Plan Administrator, GTE shall not be responsible for the requesting or assignment of number resources to NEN. The Parties agree that disputes arising from numbering assignment shall be arbitrated by the NANP Number Plan Administrator. NEN shall not request number resources to be assigned to any GTE switching entity.

NEN QTC shall not request number resources to be assigned to any GTE switching entity.

Except with respect to those areas in which GTE is the NANP Number Plan Administrator, GTE shall not be responsible for the requesting or assignment of number resources to NENTOUCHTONE. The Parties agree that disputes arising from numbering assignment shall be arbitrated by the NANP Number Plan Administrator. NEN TOUCHTONE shall not request number resources to be assigned to any GTE switching entity.

Except with respect to those areas in which GTE is the NANP Number Plan Administrator, GTE shall not be responsible for the requesting or assignment of number resources to NENCellPage. The Parties agree that disputes arising from numbering assignment shall be arbitrated by the NANP Number Plan Administrator. NEN CellPage shall not request number resources to be assigned to any GTE switching entity.

NEN XXX shall not request number resources to be assigned to any GTE switching entity.

NEN DSL shall not request number resources to be assigned to any GTE switching entity.

Any request for numbering resources by NEN Hyperion shall be made directly to the NANP Number Plan Administrator. Except with respect to those areas in which GTE is the NANP Number Plan Administrator, GTE shall not be responsible for the requesting or assignment of number resources to NENHyperion. The Parties agree that disputes arising from numbering assignment shall be arbitrated by the NANP Number Plan Administrator. NEN Hyperion shall not request number resources to be assigned to any GTE switching entity.

Except with respect to those areas in which GTE is the NANP Number Plan Administrator, GTE shall not be responsible for the requesting or assignment of number resources to NENPathnet. The Parties agree that disputes arising from numbering assignment shall be arbitrated by the NANP Number Plan Administrator. NEN Pathnet shall not request number resources to be assigned to any GTE switching entity.

Except with respect to those areas in which GTE is the NANP Number Plan Administrator, GTE shall not be responsible for the requesting or assignment of number resources to NENSETI. The Parties agree that disputes arising from numbering assignment shall be arbitrated by the NANP Number Plan Administrator. NEN SETI shall not request number resources to be assigned to any GTE switching entity.

Except with respect to those areas in which GTE is the NANP Number Plan Administrator, GTE shall not be responsible for the requesting or assignment of number resources to NENACI. The Parties agree that disputes arising from numbering assignment shall be arbitrated by the NANP Number Plan Administrator. NEN ACI shall not request number resources to be assigned to any GTE switching entity.
