November November. Where a driver makes one (1) stop to deliver vehicles to two or more separate dealers within a city or single zone each dealer will be treated as a separate stop for pay purposes. STOP RATE: Inter-city In the case of a second and subsequent loading and/or unloading stop within a city (except in Montreal and Quebec where the flat rates apply as outlined in Appendix and respectively) where no zone mileage is applicable, a payment shall be made for the second and subsequent stops as follows: This payment is in lieu of any mileage and is in addition to the stop rate. This applies in the case of where a loading stop is en route and not at final destination.

The Company agrees to continue, for the duration of the Agreement, the present practice of transporting M&C employees to restaurants for breakfast with all time paid by the Company. The Union will designate two places where breakfasts may be obtained and four places where other meals may be obtained, If the Union desires to change any of the designated meal sources, thirty days’ written notice will be given to the Company. EMERGENCY REPAIRS In the case of emergency overtime the foreperson involved shall offer the overtime opportunity to such employees as deemed necessary to complete the repairs needed. In the case of employees of various groups working on an emergency overtime job, no objection will be raised to their giving reasonable assistance on other phases of the work on this job when they are not performing their particular skill. If employees working on an overtime job believe another skill is needed the foreperson involved will be contacted to explain to them the circumstances and request meanwhile the employees on the job will continue the repairs to the best of their ability. If a foreperson refuses request for additional help and should a grievance be lodged it shall be considered by both the Company and the Union from a reasonable standpoint, taking into account the circumstances involved. Work of the shift adjusters is to do small adjustments and repairs (including minor blanking and required to maintain efficient production operations. It is not Company’s intent that will do repairs are normally done by the Maintenance Department. Specifically, Shift Adjusters will not replace V-belts, adjust or repair skip car brakes, repair or remove links from chain drives. Additionally, Shift Adjusters will not replace valves in conjunction maintenance projects. Further, this list will not be construed as an exclusive list of restrictions. Employees who do not wish to work overtime may sign a waiver in form set forth below and will not be contacted for overtime opportunities for at least thirty days and not thereafter until they revoke their waiver by written notice.
