Notwithstanding Clause 11. 2.2, subject to the terms and conditions of the benefits insurance carrier policies, upon request by the teacher, the Board will continue paying the Board portion of the benefit costs for a teacher on maternity, adoption or parental leave, for a period of up to twelve (12) months, provided the teacher repays the teacher portion of the benefit premiums.
