Notwithstanding Art. 13.01, Bargaining Unit Employees shall be considered for flexible work schedules. Any Employee interested in such an arrangement shall make the request in writing to their immediate supervisor. The Employer shall have the right to decide whether an Employee will be allowed to work a flexible schedule based on the following criteria: The operational needs of the Employer The function of the position Health and safety requirements Seniority of the Employees making a request The Employer agrees that its decision shall be based on bona fide considerations and such right shall not be exercised in an arbitrary or bad faith manner. Upon granting a bargaining unit Employee the ability to work a flexible work schedule. The Employer may alter and/or rescind such arrangement based upon bona fide considerations as aforementioned. In recognition of the above the Union recognizes that the Employer has the right to schedule bargaining unit Employees in a manner that maintains service delivery standards. 12.03 a) An Employee shall be paid a weekend premium of two dollars and eighty cents ($2.80) per hour for each hour worked between 2400 hours Friday and 2400 hours Sunday.
