Notice to Supervisor. Staff members wishing to leave their normal place of work to engage in joint University/Association business shall inform their supervisor as soon as possible. The absence shall be approved if, in the supervisor’s reasonable judgement, such absence would not interfere with the satisfactory and timely performance of the staff member’s normal University duties.

Notice to Supervisor. The University and the Association expect staff members to use this flexibility responsibly. Whenever possible, staff members will inform their supervisors in advance of the absence and keep the absence as short as is necessary to deal with the circumstances requiring the absence.‌
