Common use of Notice of Clause in Contracts

Notice of. In the event of a proposed layoff at the Hospital of a permanent or long-term nature, the Hospital shall: provide the Union with no less than five (5) months written notice of the proposed layoff; and provide to the affected if any, no less than five (5) months written notice of layoff, or pay in lieu thereof.

Notice of. In the event of a proposed layoff lay-off at the Hospital of a permanent or long-term naturenature or the elimination of a position within the bargaining unit, the Hospital shall: provide the Union with no less than five (5) months six months' written notice of the proposed layofflayoff or elimination of position; and provide to the affected if any, no less than five (5) months written notice of layoff, or pay in lieu thereof.and
