Common use of Notice of Separation Clause in Contracts

Notice of Separation. Any purported separation of Executive's employment hereunder by the Company or Executive (other than separation by reason of the death of Executive) shall be effective when communicated to the other party by a Notice of Separation. For the purposes of this Agreement, a "Notice of Separation" shall be a written notice indicating the specific separation provision in this Agreement relied upon and the Separation Date. If Executive vacates or abandons his job and does not give Notice of Separation, the Separation Date will be the last day worked or such other date as the Company may reasonably select.
