Notice of Intent to Return. On or before March 1 of the year the leave is in effect, the teacher shall give written notice of intent to return. Notice shall be sent to the Superintendent. Failure to advise the Superintendent by said date of the intent to return as required herein shall be conclusively treated as an election not to return to employment and as an absolute resignation from the District, and no action shall lie against the Board therefore.

Notice of Intent to Return. Any teacher granted an unpaid leave of six (6) calendar months or more, as a condition thereof, shall advise the Superintendent or designee in writing no later than February 1 prior to the termination of such leave that he/she intends to return to employment. Failure to advise the Superintendent or designee of intent to return as required by this section shall be treated as an election not to return to employment and as a resignation from the District.
Notice of Intent to Return. The College shall send a notice to employees who are on an approved child care leave as a reminder that the leave period is nearly up. Such notice shall be sent at least forty-five (45) days prior to the employee's scheduled date of return. The employee must then confirm to his/her immediate supervisor, in writing, the employee's intent to return on the required day and such writing shall be delivered to the immediate supervisor not later than the thirtieth (30th) consecutive calendar day prior to the last day of the leave. Failure to give such notice on time may be deemed to be a voluntary resignation by the employee, which the college is entitled to accept, effective as of the last day of the leave.
