Common use of Not Partners Clause in Contracts

Not Partners. 32.1 Con Edison shall be an independent contractor in the performance of the O&M Services hereunder. Nothing contained in this Second Composite Agreement shall be construed to make the parties partners or joint ventures or to render either party liable for the debts or obligations of the other. No right of supervision, inspection, requirement or approval or other provision of this Second Composite Agreement and no conduct of the parties shall be construed to create a relationship of principal and agents, partners or joint ventures between the parties, or joint employers of the Power Authority’s Contractors.
