Not a Representative Sample Clauses

The "Not a Representative" clause establishes that a party to the agreement is not acting as an agent, representative, or intermediary for the other party. In practice, this means that neither party has the authority to make commitments, enter into contracts, or otherwise bind the other party in any way. For example, if two companies are collaborating, this clause clarifies that one company cannot speak or act on behalf of the other. Its core function is to prevent misunderstandings or legal liability arising from unauthorized actions or statements, ensuring that each party retains control over its own obligations and representations.
Not a Representative. Each Applicant is acting for itself and for no other Person or entity in requesting the issuance of each Letter of Credit, except to the extent that Cameron is acting as a co-applicant with a Subsidiary Applicant.
