NORMAL CONSTRUCTION LABOR MARKET. Normal construction labor market" is defined to mean the following geographical area plus the commuting distance adjacent thereto which includes the area from which the normal labor supply is secured: District of Columbia Maryland Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxxx, Prince Xxxxxx's, and St. Mary's Counties Virginia *Albemarle, Arlington, *Augusta, *Xxxxxx, *Culpeper, Fairfax, Fauquier, *Fluvanna, *Xxxxxxxxx, *Green, *Highland, King Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, *Xxxxxx, *Xxxxxxx, *Orange, *Page, Prince Xxxxxxx, *Rappahannock, *Rockingham, *Shenandoah, *Spotsylvania, Xxxxxxxx, *Xxxxxx, and Xxxxxxxxxxxx Counties, the City of Alexandria, and the City of Fredericksburg (in Spotsylvania County), and the Townships of *Center, *Xxxxxxxx, and *Xxxxx (NOTE: "*" indicates Shenandoah Zone) The above geographical area is agreed upon by the parties to include the area defined by the Secretary of Labor to be the appropriate prevailing wage areas under the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act to which the Agreement applies.

The above geographical area is agreed upon by the parties to include the area defined by the Secretary of Labor to be the appropriate prevailing wage area under the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act to which the Agreement applies.
NORMAL CONSTRUCTION LABOR MARKET. Defined to mean the territorial jurisdiction of the Local Union granted to them under their charter and by awards and resolutions of the International Union.

  • Suspension of unsafe Construction Works (i) Upon recommendation of the Authority’s Engineer to this effect, the Authority may by notice require the Contractor to suspend forthwith the whole or any part of the Works if, in the reasonable opinion of the Authority’s Engineer, such work threatens the safety of the Users and pedestrians.

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES The Pre-Construction Phase shall be deemed to commence upon the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed with Pre-Construction Phase Services issued by Owner and shall continue through completion of the Construction Documents and procurement of all major Subcontractor agreements. Contractor is not entitled to reimbursement for any costs incurred for Pre-Construction Phase Services performed before issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. Pre-Construction Phase Services may overlap Construction Phase Services. Contractor shall perform the following Pre-Construction Phase Services:

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE FEE The Pre-Construction Phase Fee is the total compensation payable to Contractor for the performance of Pre-Construction Phase Services, except for Additional Pre-Construction Phase Services approved in advance and in writing by Owner. The Pre-Construction Phase Fee shall be a lump sum amount based on the AACC established in this Agreement.

  • Pre-Construction Phase Employer’s Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Comprehensive General Liability and Comprehensive Automobile Liability in the amounts as set forth in the UGSC.

  • Contract Construction 6.27.1 The parties acknowledge that each party and its counsel have reviewed this CONTRACT and that the normal rule of construction to the effect that any ambiguities are to be resolved against the drafting party shall not be employed in the interpretation of this CONTRACT or any amendment or exhibits hereto.

  • Project Construction The Contractor agrees to provide continuous on-site supervision on each Job Order, while progress on the project is being accomplished. The Contractor’s Project Manager will ensure:

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.

  • Language Construction The language of this Agreement shall be construed in accordance with its fair meaning and not for or against any party. The parties acknowledge that each party and its counsel have reviewed and had the opportunity to participate in the drafting of this Agreement and, accordingly, that the rule of construction that would resolve ambiguities in favor of non-drafting parties shall not apply to the interpretation of this Agreement.

  • DAF Construction The DAF shall be designed and constructed in accordance with Good Utility Practice. Within one hundred twenty (120) Calendar Days after the Commercial Operation Date, unless the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner agree on another mutually acceptable deadline, the Developer shall deliver to the Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO “as- built” drawings, information and documents for the DAF, such as: a one-line diagram, a site plan showing the Large Generating Facility and the DAF, plan and elevation drawings showing the layout of the DAF, a relay functional diagram, relaying AC and DC schematic wiring diagrams and relay settings for all facilities associated with the Developer’s step-up transformers, the facilities connecting the Large Generating Facility to the step-up transformers and the DAF, and the impedances (determined by factory tests) for the associated step-up transformers and the Large Generating Facility. The Developer shall provide to, and coordinate with, Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO with respect to proposed specifications for the excitation system, automatic voltage regulator, Large Generating Facility control and protection settings, transformer tap settings, and communications, if applicable.

  • ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTIONS The Promoter undertakes that it has no right to make additions or to put up additional structure(s) anywhere in the Project after the building plan has been approved by the competent authority(ies) except for as provided in the Act.
