Non-Standard Work Week. Where the nature of a department, division of a department, or occupation requires a six (6) or seven (7) day operation per week, the normal work week for Regular Full-Time and Temporary Full-Time Employees in such operations may be any five (5) consecutive days with two (2) days of rest. This provision shall apply to those positions and position classes set out in Schedule "B" and any additions agreed to subsequently by mutual consent of the parties hereto. The normal work week for part-time employees in such operations shall be Monday to Sunday inclusive.

Non-Standard Work Week. There are certain classes of employees who may work less than forty (40) hours per calendar week, Monday through Friday, such as cafeteria workers. These employees will be compensated at an hourly rate for the number of hours actually worked.

This provision shall apply to those positions and position classes set out in Schedules "A" and "B" and any additions agreed to subsequently by mutual consent of the parties. The normal work week for Regular Part-Time and Auxiliary Employees in such operations shall be Monday to Sunday, inclusive.

No employee shall be assigned 11 to a non-standard five (5) consecutive day work week except by mutual consent of the employee 12 and the employee's supervisor, and approved by CSEA and the District. If so assigned, overtime 13 pay shall be computed in the manner provided in Section 4 of this Article, except that such 14 employee's work week will begin at the regular starting time of his/her assigned shift on the first 15 (1st) day of his/her work week rather than Monday. Any change in an employee's work week will 16 not affect the computation of overtime or premium pay in the overlapping period.

Advance Notice The City will notify the Union at least seven (7) days in advance of any additional positions or position classes to be included under the provisions of a non-standard day or non-standard week other than those positions agreed to as set out in Schedule and shall advise the Union of the pay rates and working hours for such positions. Pay rates shall be subject to collective bargaining.
Non-Standard Work Week. The Rail Traffic Controller will compile the number of days worked in each pay period by trainmen changing assignments and attempt to control trainmen to twenty (20) days over two pay periods. A trainman having a nineteen (19) day pay in a two (2) pay period will be entitled to one (1) extra day on the spareboard and will retain his seniority for that day. A trainman who is scheduled to work in excess of twenty (20) days in two pay periods will be paid time at prevailing overtime rates, unless a spareboard man is available to relieve him for the days in excess of the twenty (20) day period.
