Common use of Non-residential Clause in Contracts

Non-residential. Both parties recognize that job security will increase in proportion to length of service. Therefore, in the event of a layoff, employees will be laid off by classification, in reverse order of seniority. Layoff notice will include a current list of junior positions available to bump under Clause 13.4 (Bumping).
