Non-OTES Teacher Evaluation Clause Samples

The Non-OTES Teacher Evaluation clause establishes the procedures and criteria for evaluating teachers who are not subject to the Ohio Teacher Evaluation System (OTES). This clause typically outlines alternative evaluation methods, such as administrative reviews, peer assessments, or other performance metrics, and specifies which teachers or positions fall under its scope, such as part-time, substitute, or specialized instructional staff. Its core function is to ensure that all educators receive appropriate performance feedback and accountability, even if they are exempt from the standard OTES process, thereby maintaining consistent evaluation standards across the institution.
