SMOKE DETECTORS The Texas Property Code requires that the Premises be equipped with smoke detectors in certain locations. Said Code will govern the rights and obligations of the parties regarding smoke detectors. All requests for additional installation, inspection or repair of smoke detectors must be made in writing by Tenant to Landlord. Disconnecting or intentionally damaging a smoke detector or removing a battery without immediately replacing it with a working battery may subject Tenant to civil penalties and liability for damages and attorney fees under the Texas Property Code.
Pupil-Generated Content The term “pupil-generated content” means materials or content created by a pupil during and for the purpose of education including, but not limited to, essays, research reports, portfolios, creative writing, music or other audio files, photographs, videos, and account information that enables ongoing ownership of pupil content. Subscribing LEA: A LEA that was not party to the original Services Agreement and who accepts the Operator’s General Offer of Privacy Terms. Subprocessor: For the purposes of this Agreement, the term “Subprocessor” (sometimes referred to as the “Subcontractor”) means a party other than LEA or Operator, who Operator uses for data collection, analytics, storage, or other service to operate and/or improve its software, and who has access to PII. Targeted Advertising: Targeted advertising means presenting an advertisement to a student where the selection of the advertisement is based on student information, student records or student generated content or inferred over time from the usage of the Operator’s website, online service or mobile application by such student or the retention of such student’s online activities or requests over time. Texas Student Privacy Alliance: The Texas Student Privacy Alliance (TXSPA) is a collaborative group of Texas school districts that share common concerns around student privacy. The goal of the TXSPA is to set standards of both practice and expectations around student privacy such that all parties involved have a common understanding of expectations. The Texas K-12 CTO Council is the organization that sponsors TXSPA and the TXSPA is the Texas affiliate of the National Student Privacy Consortium.
Provisioning of High Frequency Spectrum and Splitter Space 3.2.1 BellSouth will provide Momentum with access to the High Frequency Spectrum as follows:
Signaling Each Party will provide the other Party with access to its databases and associated signaling necessary for the routing and completion of the other Party’s traffic in accordance with the provisions contained in the Unbundled Network Element Attachment or applicable access tariff.
Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 8.2.1 If Reconex chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, Reconex’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by Reconex to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center subtends as identified in the LERG.
Screening The review of applicants to determine qualified candidates for a position.
Signaling protocol The parties will interconnect their networks using SS7 signaling where technically feasible and available as defined in FR 905 Telcordia Standards including ISDN User Part (ISUP) for trunk signaling and TCAP for CCS-based features in the interconnection of their networks. All Network Operations Forum (NOF) adopted standards shall be adhered to.
CCS (Common Channel Signaling) A method of transmitting call set-up and network control data over a digital signaling network separate from the public switched telephone network facilities that carry the actual voice or data content of the call.
Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where Momentum has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC) systems to provide the local service to the end user and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to Momentum. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will make alternative arrangements available to Momentum (e.g. hairpinning).
