Common use of No Work Stoppage Clause in Contracts

No Work Stoppage. It is recognized that the Medical Center is engaged in a public service requiring continuous operation, and it is agreed that such obligation of continuous service is imposed upon both the employee and the Association. Neither the Association nor its represented Registered Nurses, members, agents, representatives, or employees shall incite, encourage, or participate in any strike, sympathy strike, walkout, slowdown, picketing, or work stoppage of any nature whatsoever, during the term of this Agreement. In the event of such activity, or a threat thereof, the Association and its officers will do everything within their power to end or avert such activity.

It is recognized that the Medical Center Hospital is engaged in a public service requiring continuous operation, and it is agreed that such obligation of continuous service is imposed upon both the employee and the Association. Neither the Association nor its represented Registered Nurses, members, agents, representatives, or employees shall incite, encourage, or participate in any strike, sympathy strike, walkout, slowdown, picketing, or work stoppage of any nature whatsoever, whatsoever during the term of this Agreement. Neither 1 the Association nor its represented Registered Nurses, members, agents, 2 representatives, or employees shall incite, encourage, or participate in any strike, 3 sympathy strike, walkout, slowdown, picketing, or work stoppage of any nature 4 whatsoever, during the term of this Agreement.
