NO STRIKE CLAUSE. The Union, its members and representatives agree that it and they will not engage in, authorize, sanction, or support any strike, slowdown, stoppage of work, curtailment of production, concerted refusal of overtime work, refusal to operate designated equipment (provided such equipment is safe) or to perform customary duties; and neither the Union nor any representatives thereof shall engage in job action for the purpose of effecting changes in the directives or decisions of management of the City, nor to effect a change of personnel or operations management, or of employees not covered by this Memorandum of Understanding.

In the event that the Union nor or members violates this provision, they shall be subject to appropriate penalties by the Board; provided, however, that any representatives thereof disputes as to whether this provision has been violated shall engage in job action for be subject to the purpose of effecting changes in the directives or decisions of management of the City, nor to effect a change of personnel or operations management, or of employees not covered by this Memorandum of Understandinggrievance procedure.

Employees who engage in job action for the purpose of effecting changes in the directives or decisions of management any of the Cityforegoing actions shall be subject to such disciplinary action as may be determined by the District. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement for an employee, nor for reasons of personal physical safety, to effect refuse to cross the picket line established by a change of personnel or operations management, or of employees not covered by this Memorandum of Understandingdifferent labor organization which holds a labor agreement with the District.

NO STRIKE CLAUSE. 4.1 It is mutually agreed that there shall be no strikes or lockouts during the existence of this Agreement. The Union, Union agrees that during such time it will refrain from ordering and will use every effort to prevent cessation of work for any reason by any of its members and representatives agree that it and they will not engage in, authorize, sanction, or support any strike, slowdown, stoppage of work, curtailment of production, concerted refusal of overtime work, refusal to operate designated equipment (provided such equipment is safe) or to perform customary duties; and neither employed by the Union nor any representatives thereof shall engage in job action for the purpose of effecting changes in the directives or decisions of management of the City, nor to effect a change of personnel or operations management, or of employees not covered by this Memorandum of Understandingemployer.

In consideration of the foregoing provisions of this Agreement, the Union agrees that there shall be no suspension of work or other interference with the operation of the Employer during the term of this Agreement. The Union, its members and representatives agree Union further agrees that it will actively oppose and they discourage any such action on the part of individual employees and will not engage in, authorize, sanction, or support them in any strike, slowdown, stoppage violation of work, curtailment of production, concerted refusal of overtime work, refusal to operate designated equipment (provided such equipment is safe) or to perform customary duties; and neither the Union nor any representatives thereof shall engage in job action for the purpose of effecting changes in the directives or decisions of management of the City, nor to effect a change of personnel or operations management, or of employees not covered by this Memorandum of UnderstandingSection.
