No Pyramiding of Payments. 39.06 Payments provided under the Overtime, General Holidays, Call-Back and Reporting Pay provisions of this Agreement and clause 39.04 above shall not be pyramided; that is an employee shall not receive more than one compensation for the same service.

No Pyramiding of Payments. (a) Except as expressly provided otherwise by this Agreement, the applicable base hourly rate(s), per Appendix “A”, shall be paid as a starting point for calculating overall compensation but shall not be compounded by any other premium, overtime, or additional pay arising out of the express provision(s) of this Agreement. Accordingly, there shall be no pyramiding of any such payment(s). That is to say, each of any such additional payment(s) shall be calculated separately and added individually to the applicable base hourly rate(s), per Appendix “A”, in determining overall compensation, and, accordingly, none shall be compounded, unless expressly provided otherwise by this Agreement.
