No Layoff. An Employee shall not be required to layoff during regular hours to equalize any overtime worked.
No Layoff. 26.1 For the Term of this Agreement, the Employer shall not lay off any of the Employees who are employed at the Facilities as of December 31st, 2004. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing herein restricts the Employer from hiring, reducing or laying off Employees exceeding the Employer's minimum Employee requirement, where the Employer determines in its sole discretion that it requires or does not require such Employees for the operation of the Facilities.
No Layoff. The B.C. Government and Service Employees' Union and the Union have agreed that there will be no contracting out which results in layoffs of employees or failure to recall employees. Employees shall be recalled to work pursuant to Clause 10.2 of the Collective Agreement between the Parties.

No Layoff. The parties agree that no Staff Assignment Editor, Newswriter or Continuity Writer, as defined herein, employed as of February 13, 2019, the date of ratification will be laid off or terminated as a direct result of the Company’s right to employ Staff Assignment Editors and Continuity Writers under the terms and conditions set forth in this Sideletter.

Eight (8) of the fourteen (14) days may be used in a calendar year as personal leave days, subject to the conditions set forth in Section 9.1. Employees shall be entitled to accumulate a maximum of sixty (60) paid sick/personal leave days. The Village agrees to pay in a lump sum one-half (1/2) of all unused sick/personal leave days annually, after said employees have accumulated the maximum sixty (60) days in his/her sick/personal leave bank.
