No Break in Service. No absence under any paid leave provision of this Memorandum shall be considered as a break in service for any employee who is in paid status during each absence. All benefits which, under the provisions of the Memorandum, accrue to employees who are in paid status shall continue to accrue during such absence. A break in service is defined as occurring upon resignation or termination.
No Break in Service. The service of a Teacher with the School shall be deemed continuous notwithstanding the service has been interrupted by reason of the Teacher taking maternity leave (including paid and unpaid leave in accordance with clause 19 or other approved leave without pay) but the period during which the service is so interrupted shall not be taken into account in calculating the period of service.
No Break in Service. The service of an Employee with the Employer shall be deemed continuous notwithstanding the service has been interrupted by reason of the Employee taking maternity leave (including paid and unpaid leave) or approved leave without pay, but the period during which the service is so interrupted shall not be taken into account in calculating the period of service.
No Break in Service. In determining the length of seniority, an employee whose employment has been legally terminated by resignation, or termination pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 122A.40 but whose employment was subsequently reinstated, by action of the school district and the employee, without interruption of regular service, shall retain his/her original seniority date.
No Break in Service. Time spent on a recall list shall not count as a break in continuity of service but will not be counted as service time for the purpose of calculating severance pay.
No Break in Service. The leave does not constitute a break in service for purposes of longevity, seniority, vacation, and/or sick leave under the articles of this agreement. Leave provided may be taken in one (1) or more periods as provided by law.
