Native Load Customers. The wholesale and retail power customers of a Transmission Owner on whose behalf the Transmission Owner, by statute, franchise, regulatory requirement, or contract, has undertaken an obligation to construct and operate the Transmission Owner’s system to meet the reliable electric needs of such customers.

Native Load Customers. The wholesale and retail power customers of a Participant or other entity which is a Transmission Provider on whose behalf the Participant or other entity, by statute, franchise, regulatory requirement, or contract, has undertaken an obligation to, construct and operate its system to meet the reliable electric needs of such customers. 1.30 NEPOOL: The New England Power Pool, the power pool created under and governed by the Agreement, and the entities collectively participating in the New England Power Pool. 1.31 NEPOOL Control Area: The Control Area (as defined in Section 1.8) for NEPOOL.
