NAMED HOLIDAYS. 22.01 (a) Full-time employees shall be entitled to a day off with pay on or for the following Named Holidays: New Year's Day Labour Day Alberta Family Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day August Civic Holiday and all general holidays proclaimed to be a statutory holiday by any of the following: (i) the Municipality in which the Health Care Facility is located; (ii) the Province of Alberta; or (iii) the Government of Canada.

Further, any day proclaimed by the Government of Canadathe municipality to be a civic holiday for general observance by the municipal community in which the institution is located.

NAMED HOLIDAYS. 22.01 18.01 (a) Full-time employees Employees shall be entitled to a day off with 7 hours pay on or for each of the following Named Holidays: New Year's ’s Day Labour Day Alberta Family Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Remembrance Day Easter Monday Christmas Day Victoria Day Christmas Boxing Day Canada Day Boxing Day August Civic Holiday and all general holidays Any holiday proclaimed to be a statutory holiday of general observance by any of the following: (i) the Municipality in which the Health Care Facility United Nurses of Alberta is located; (ii) located and/or the Government of the Province of Alberta; or (iii) Alberta and/or the Government of CanadaCanada shall also be recognized.
