Moving Household. An employee is entitled to all reasonable expenses associated with moving his or her household to a new location if, in the opinion of the Commissioner, the transfer is necessary to enable the employee to take up alternative employment.

Moving Household. 7.1 If an employee who would otherwise have been declared excess is redeployed and such redeployment requires a movement of his or her household to a new locality, the employee is entitled to all reasonable expenses associated with that move on the same basis which would apply if the employee were being promoted.

  • Moving a. You must give us at least forty-five (45) days’ advance notice before you move and tell us your new address. If the new location is within a territory we serve, we will amend this Contract to apply to your new location. Any interruption in supply of Energy or services caused by your failure to give us forty-five (45) days’ notice and any additional costs we incur in serving the new location will be your responsibility.

  • Funerals A regular employee may be released from duty for a period up to three days without reducing base earnings in the event of the death of a member of the immediate family including parent, parent-in-law, brother, brother-in- law, sister, sister-in-law, spouse, son, son-in-law, daughter, daughter-in-law, grand-parents, grandparents-in- law and grandchildren. In the event of the death of a fellow employee, a regular employee may be allowed time off with pay to attend the funeral. Usually the time required is less than one-half day. Regular part-time employees shall be granted the time off with pay if scheduled to work.

  • Shopping Goods and works estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of Shopping.
