Motion to Enforce Settlement Sample Clauses

A Motion to Enforce Settlement is a legal request made to a court to compel parties to comply with the terms of a previously agreed-upon settlement. Typically, if one party believes the other has failed to fulfill their obligations under a settlement agreement, they can file this motion, prompting the court to review the agreement and the alleged breach. This clause ensures that settlements are honored and provides a mechanism for resolving disputes over compliance without reopening the underlying case, thereby promoting finality and efficiency in legal proceedings.
