More than Thirty Days. Nurses returning from an authorized 28 leave of absence of more than thirty (30) days will be required to re-apply for the 29 next available position if their position is no longer available. Nurses returning 30 from a protected leave shall be returned to the same position and/or shift if still 31 available in accordance with applicable law if such position still exists and the 32 employee was not subject to lay off/reduction in force.
