Monitoring and Assessment. Objective
Monitoring and Assessment. 26.1 The Joint Committee will be responsible for monitoring and assessing in terms of its:
26.1.1 general strategic performance as measured by a range of indicators as the Partner Authorities may agree from time to time including but not limited to, financial performance, income, national indicators, customer satisfaction levels, funding leverage and key achievements;
26.1.2 performance in carrying out this Agreement; and
26.1.3 progress in fulfilling the Annual Business Plan.
26.2 The Joint Committee will receive presentations and progress reports on key issues and notable projects from the Unit Manager.
26.3 The Joint Committee will issue an Annual Report of its activities, finances and performance to the Partner Authorities and other appropriate parties. The Joint Committee may decide to publish the report.
Monitoring and Assessment. The monitoring of LA&RAP implementation is an integral part of the Contract monitoring and management system. In consequence, the monitoring process will use tools applied in monitoring the implementation of the Contract, which is aimed at reporting to sponsoring undertakings and delivering current information about any issues, contingencies and irregularities. LA&RAP is an integral part of the investment process, which allows for an immediate response in case of discovering problems or irregularities. It is also fundamentally important to ensure appropriate cooperation between the Consultant, PIU and PCU. A diagram of the flow of monitoring information is presented below. General monitoring and assessment procedures are elaborated in the ‘Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework’, available on CONSULTANT road map monthly report verification of

Monitoring and Assessment. 2.6.1 Conduct monitoring of constituent removal of treatment BMPs in accordance with the MP. Grantee may continue to monitor previously installed (Phase I) treatment BMPs pursuant to previously approved PAEP, MP, and QAPP.
2.6.2 Conduct monitoring of discharge flow for reference area and estimate flow reduction for sample porous pavement plots in accordance with the MP. Grantee may continue to monitor previously installed (Phase I) porous pavement plots pursuant to previously approved PAEP, MP, and QAPP.
2.6.3 Submit treatment BMP monitoring results and porous paving monitoring results to Grant Manager for review/approval.
Monitoring and Assessment. 5.5.1 The CIMS will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the Joint Museum Service in terms of its;
a) Performance against the agreed work programme
b) Performance against budget
c) Performance against any relevant National or Local Performance Indicators.
Monitoring and Assessment. 5.5.1 The Joint Committee will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the joint museum service in terms of its:
(a) General performance as measured by a range of indicators such as financial performance, visitor figures, income, Best Value Performance Indicators, Satisfaction levels, funding leverage, key achievements etc
(b) Performance in carrying out this Agreement
(c) Progress in fulfilling the three year development Plan (during 2007-2008 the joint museum service will be covered by an interim one year development plan only)
5.5.2 It will also receive presentations and progress reports on key issues and notable projects.
Monitoring and Assessment. 1. The Parties shall conduct monitoring in accordance with the coordinated programmes in order to obtain regular information on the condition of water resources in the Zapadnaya Dvina/Daugava River Basin and to forecast its possible changes. The monitoring data shall be freely accessible to the Parties, which exchange them following the agreed procedures.
2. The Parties shall conduct, jointly or in coordination with each other, a regular assessment of the condition of water resources, as well as of the effectiveness of measures taken for the prevention, control and reduction of transboundary impact. Results of such assessments shall be made available to the public.
Monitoring and Assessment. Continue monitoring programs, and participate in pilot studies and special projects as needs and resources permit. Priorities for FFY03 include: (a) concentrating monitoring activities in Androscoggin River basin in FFY 03 and the St. ▇▇▇▇ and Presumpscot River basins (biomonitoring and associated water chemistry monitoring) in FFY04; (b) developing TMDLs based on priorities established in the 303(d) list (specific water bodies targeted for TMDL completion include, Androscoggin River [Gulf Island], (resolution of water quality problems on Sebasticook River [Burnham] and the West Branch of the Penobscot River may be resolved without need of completing TMDLs pending changes in statute); (c) proposing statewide water quality criteria for mercury (wildlife) in 2004 or 2005; (d) submitting 305(b) and 303(d) (Integrated Report) by October 1, 2002; and (e) generic river and stream QAPP for purposes of point source modeling and TMDL development. The EPA has been collecting biological data from wadable streams in Maine under a Regional Monitoring and Assessment Program (ReMAP) grant. The Department requests that EPA continue to share data from this effort with us and to work with us to ensure that their methods and the interpretive approach are compatible with and complementary to the biological monitoring methods established by the Department. Address nonpoint sources of pollution through implementation of standards, monitoring and assessment, educational and technical assistance, and provision of grants and loans. A promising new initiative is the development of algal indicators of non-point source pollution. The DEP has been collecting and analyzing periphyton data collected from suspected NPS impaired sites since 1999 under start-up 319 funding. This program provides valuable new and complementary information in association with the macroinvertebrate biological monitoring program. Twenty sites suspected of NPS impairment will be monitored in FFY03. Implement and continue to appropriately develop laws that regulate activities in or discharging to stream and river watersheds, such as the Stormwater Management Law, Natural Resources Protection Act, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Law, Mandatory Shoreland Zoning Act, and Site Location of Development Law. Priorities for FFY03 include: (a) complying with NPDES stormwater requirements, which include developing general permits for construction activities down to 1 acre of disturbance and for regulated MS4s, and devel...
