Compass Bank shall establish an escrow fund totaling $1.75 million (\u201cthe Settlement Fund\u201d) for the purpose of paying damages to persons who may have suffered as a result of Compass Bank\u2019s alleged failure to comply with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (\u201cPayee Co-Applicants\u201d). For loans originated in the West DFS Region, Compass Bank has identified a total of 1,052 policy loans to Payee Co-applicants (\u201cWest Category A\u201d) and a total of 2,374 exception loans to Payee Co-applicants (\u201cWest Category B\u201d).
