MODIFIED UNION SHOP. Each employee who, on the effective date of this Agreement is a member of the Union, shall, as a condition of employment, maintain his/her membership in the Union. Each employee hired on or after the execution of this Agreement shall, as a condition of employment, become a member of the Union thirty (30) days after his/her hiring date or the effective date of this Agreement, whichever is later, and maintain membership in the Union, or shall fulfill the requirements of subsection B of this paragraph. Employees who fail to comply with this requirement shall be discharged by the employer within thirty (30) days after receipt of written notice to the employer from the Union.

MODIFIED UNION SHOP. It shall be a condition of employment for employees hired after March to join the Union and remain in good standing. Cheque and List to Union All deductions made under the provisions of Article will be remitted monthly to the Treasurer of the Union together with a list of the employees from whom the deduction was made. The Union will save the Employer harmless from any and all claims which may be made against the Employer for amounts deducted from employee’s pay as herein provided.

All full-time employees listed under the three classifications (bus drivers, food service, and custodians) must meet all union requirements and standards as stipulated in the current negotiated contract. Part-time employees shall not be required, as a condition of employment, to maintain membership in good standing for the purposes of this Understanding during the summer months. During new employee orientation the Administration shall provide any newly hired employee covered by this agreement written information outlining the provisions of this agreement. The Union shall provide the written information to Administration for dissemination to all newly hired employees.

The OC feature will allow NewPhone to coordinate the installation of the Loop with the disconnect of an existing customer’s service and/or number portability service. In these cases, BellSouth will perform the order conversion with standard order coordination at its discretion during normal work hours.

  • Unbundled Loops 2.1.1 BellSouth agrees to offer access to unbundled loops pursuant to the following terms and conditions and at the rates set forth in Attachment 11.

  • Unbundled Subloop Distribution (USLD) 2.8.2.1 The USLD facility is a dedicated transmission facility that BellSouth provides from an End User’s point of demarcation to a BellSouth cross-connect device.   • F4 Transfer and Sub-Contracting F4.1 Except where clauses F4.5 and F4.6 both apply, the Contractor shall not transfer, charge, assign, sub-contract or in any other way dispose of the Contract or any part of it without prior Approval.   • Unbundled Voice Loops (UVL) may be provisioned using any type of facility that will support voice grade services. This may include loaded copper, non-loaded copper, digital loop carrier systems, fiber/copper combination (hybrid loop) or a combination of any of these facilities. BellSouth, in the normal course of maintaining, repairing, and configuring its network, may also change the facilities that are used to provide any given voice grade circuit. This change may occur at any time. In these situations, BellSouth will only ensure that the newly provided facility will support voice grade services. BellSouth will not guarantee that Azul Tel will be able to continue to provide any advanced services over the new facility. BellSouth will offer UVL in two different service levels - Service Level One (SL1) and Service Level Two (SL2).
