Common use of Missed Appointment Clause in Contracts

Missed Appointment. Provider shall not bill, charge, collect a deposit from, seek compensation, remuneration or reimbursement from or have recourse against a Member participating in a government program or person’s acting on behalf for a Member for a missed appointment.

Provider shall not be required to accept or continue treatment of a Member for with whom Provider feels he/she cannot establish and/or maintain a missed appointmentprofessional relationship, or is beyond the scope of Provider’s expertise or ability.
