Common use of Minimum Salary Clause in Contracts

Minimum Salary. The social partners establish a minimum salary applicable to all contracts of employment subject to the agreement. They negotiate adjustment of the minimum salary at regular intervals, taking into account salary developments, and an adjustment to the family allowance. In exceptional circumstances, an employee’s salary may be reduced to less than the minimum if, after consultation with the social partner, they are un- able to carry out their work to the required standard.
