Mineral Resources Sample Clauses
The 'Mineral Resources' clause defines the rights and obligations of parties regarding the extraction, ownership, and use of minerals found on or beneath a property. Typically, this clause specifies whether mineral rights are included in a transaction, who retains the right to mine or exploit minerals, and any restrictions or royalties associated with such activities. For example, it may clarify if the seller keeps the rights to oil, gas, or other minerals, even after selling the land. The core function of this clause is to prevent disputes by clearly allocating mineral rights and responsibilities, ensuring both parties understand their interests in the property's subsurface resources.
