Merger or Amalgamation. In the event of a merger or amalgamation of two or more centres covered by this collective agreement, the parties agree that the seniority lists of the affected centres shall be merged and that a new seniority list shall be produced prior to the imposition of any seniority related provisions of the collective agreement.

In the event that the Board shall merge, amalgamate, or combine any of its operations or functions with another School District, the Board agrees to the retention of seniority rights for all employees with the new District following consultations between the Union and the Board.

Merger or Amalgamation. 33.01 In the event the Library merges or amalgamates with any other body, the Library undertakes to ensure that the parties agree to abide by any/or all applicable legislation in effect at the time of a merger or amalgamation.
