Common use of Merger and Modification Clause in Contracts

Merger and Modification. This Lease contains the entire understanding of the Parties with respect to the transactions contemplated hereby and supersedes and terminates all prior lease agreements and understandings between the Parties with respect to such subject matter effective the date the term of this Lease begins. This Lease shall not be modified or amended, except that the same be in writing and signed by the District and the Tenant hereto after the officers of the District are authorized to do so by their Board of Directors.
