Merchant Agreement Clause Examples
A Merchant Agreement is a contractual clause that outlines the terms and conditions governing the relationship between a merchant and another party, typically a payment processor or service provider. It details the obligations, rights, and responsibilities of the merchant, such as payment processing procedures, settlement timelines, and compliance requirements. By clearly defining these terms, the clause ensures both parties understand their roles and helps prevent disputes related to transactions or service expectations.
