MEMORANDUMS OF AGREEMENT. At the end of each VA review or workshop that is conducted under this contract, representatives of VA and the A/E shall review the scope of work that (l) has been performed, (2) is in progress, and (3) is planned in the future. These representatives shall complete a Memorandum of Agreement after each scope review. For a sample of the required format of the agreement, together with implementation instructions, see CP 6 of this contract.

MEMORANDUMS OF AGREEMENT. Twelve-Hour Shift Separate from fixed shift employees, it is agreed between the parties that commencing October 5, 1992, fixed shift employees in the Oak Ridge Protective Force, were assigned to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating shift arrangement. The new fixed shift employees were configured in combinations of 8 and 12 hour work days, with each shift totaling 40 hours per week. These shift arrangements were established on a trial basis for a period of six (6) months. The 12-hour rotating shift is patterned after the AA BB CC DD shift schedules worked by bargaining unit employees at ORPF. The five-day 3:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. schedule remains unchanged. It is understood that employees working the newly established 12-hour rotating shift and the straight shift schedules will in no case receive standard overtime for hours worked in excess of eight in a 24-hour period. It is also understood and agreed that employees working schedules with 12-hour shifts will in no case receive more compensation for vacation, holidays, jury duty leave, disability leave, or other paid absences than they would normally receive by working the current 8-hour fixed shift arrangement. For example, fragmented vacation, when granted, will be recorded in 4-hour blocks of time which will be one-half day vacations for record purposes; and one 12-hour day will be recorded as one and one-half (1-1/2) days vacation. It is the intent of this agreement that no employee receive a windfall under the contract solely by virtue of working a 12-hour shift rather than an 8-hour shift schedule. Highlights of the 12-hour shift are as follows. This list is not exhaustive but answers many commonly asked questions. Unusual situations will be discussed by the parties as needed.
MEMORANDUMS OF AGREEMENT. The Company and the Union have agreed to add the following language to the memorandum, “Statements Covering Items of Understanding, Re: Two persons on Steel and Promotional Sequence (Dated February 15, 1994 and revised March 1, 2000) as follows: “During daylight savings time, call out for replacement of services less than 2” will be a proper work assignment for two persons during day or night. If daylight savings time goes away, it will revert to the same period of time described in months which currently is March through October. The Memorandum of Agreement dealing with the installation of mains and services by contractors will be made part of Exhibit C. (See Exhibit I) The Company and the Union have agreed to review certain Memorandums of Agreement for inclusion in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. General Items
