Meetings of Committee. The Committee shall meet up to six (6) times per year. Additional meetings may be scheduled upon agreement of the co-chairpersons. Its members shall receive a notice and agenda of the meeting at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the meeting. Employees shall not suffer any loss of pay for time spent with this Committee. Meetings will be held within fourteen (14) calendar days of the request to meet.

The Safety and Health Committee shall hold meetings as requested by the Union or by the Employer and all unsafe, hazardous or dangerous conditions shall be taken up and dealt with at such meetings. Minutes of all Safety and Health Committee meetings shall be kept and copies of such minutes shall be sent to the Employer and the Union.

A Safety and Health Committee shall meet during regular working hours at least once each month and, where meetings are required on an urgent basis as a result of an emergency or other special circumstance, the Committee shall meet as required whether or not during regular working hours.
