Medication Management. The State shall develop and implement guidelines and controls regarding the access to, and storage of, medication as well as the safe and appropriate disposal of medication and medical waste.

(1) Except as otherwise provided in this Contract, prescription drugs are a Covered Service for funded Condition/Treatment Pairs, and Contractor shall pay for Prescription Drugs. Contractor shall provide covered prescription drugs in accordance with OAR 410-141- 3070. Prescription drugs and drug classes covered by Medicare Part D for Fully Dual Eligible Members are not a Covered Service. OHA will continue to cover selected drugs that are excluded from Medicare Part D coverage, pursuant to OAR 410-120-1210. This service must be rendered face-to-face by a person licensed to perform such services. This service may be provided in consultation with collateral, primary therapists, and/or case managers, but includes only minimal psychotherapy.

Medication Management. These sessions are billed at a rate between $195.00 to $130.00 depending on complexity. Most sessions range from $150.00 to $130.00. Letters of Medical Necessity: These include letters to insurance companies, requested letters to providers/attorneys, court affidavits, school letters, etc. The initial rate for an uncomplicated letter is $25.00. Depending on level of complexity and time needed for chart review/preparation the charge may be more.
