Medical and Dental Insurance Coverage. You would be eligible for the Company’s standard medical and dental insurance coverage in which you were enrolled on the separation date, until the earliest of your eligibility for coverage by another employer, your coverage under your spouse’s employer, or through the end of the month in which occurred the one-year anniversary of your separation date. During such period, your cost would be limited to that applicable to then-active employees with similar coverage. You would have to elect COBRA to receive this benefit. Each month of benefits provided to you under this provision would be deducted from the total benefit continuation provided under COBRA, subject to the COBRA notification letter provided to you.

Medical and Dental Insurance Coverage. (a) Purchaser shall cause all employee health and dental plans in which Transferred Employees become participants on or after the Closing Date to waive any and all pre-existing condition exclusions and waiting period requirements and to recognize, to the extent such participation commences other than at the beginning of a plan year, expenses previously incurred for the period from the beginning of the calendar year in which the Closing Date falls to the Closing Date for purposes of applicable deductible rules to the extent such expenses are recognized under Purchaser's plans in effect immediately prior to the Closing Date. In addition, Purchaser will continue short-term disability benefits under the Company's sick pay plan for any Transferred Employee receiving such benefits as of the Closing Date for so long as such Transferred Employee remains eligible for such benefits (not to exceed 26 weeks). Through the date 12 months after the Closing Date, Transferred Employees shall not be required to make contributions toward the cost of the applicable coverage under Purchaser's health and dental plans in excess of the monthly amounts, if any, they would have been required to pay under Seller's medical and dental insurance plans prior to the Closing Date.
Medical and Dental Insurance Coverage. Oxboro agrees to maintain COBRA medical and dental coverage for Xx. Xxxxx and his eligible dependents for an 18-month (the statutory COBRA) period commencing on June 1, 1997, subject to Oxboro's timely receipt of premium payments from Xx. Xxxxx for his eligible dependents coverage. Xx. Xxxxx and Oxboro shall split the cost of the premiums for COBRA coverage.
