Accessing the U.S. census link above, staff entered individual dataset numbers into the search window, then filtered the results for each dataset, filtering Geography to: Block Group/California/Humboldt County/All Block Groups within Humboldt County; filtering Years to 2019; and filtering Surveys to ACS 5-Year Estimates Detailed Tables. Table 1, below, shows the results of staff’s analysis.

To determine the Financial Hardship these table numbers, B01003, B19013, B23025, and B17017 were identified as providing the necessary information (data) at the block group level. To gather the data, Regional Water Board staff accessed the link above by searching each table number and filtered the results by clicking the filter tab on the top left of the page and selected these options systematically: Geography, Block group, California, Mendocino County, Census Tracts, and Tracts Block Groups.
