Meal Interval. 33.1 A meal interval of not more than 60 minutes shall be allowed during each rostered period of duty (Monday to Friday inclusive) to Employees other than those working shift duty which shall not be counted as time worked. 33.2 A meal interval of not more than 30 minutes per shift shall be allowed whenever possible for Employees rostered for shift duty and shall be counted as time worked whether or not the meal interval is taken.
Meal Interval. All work done during a meal interval shall be paid for at the rate of double time fixed on the wage for the day on which such meal interval is worked. Employees shall be allowed not less than 30 minutes each day for a meal at times nominated by the Employer. Such meal time to be not less than three and a half hours or more than five hours from the time of beginning work. If work is to continue after 7.00 p.m. a further meal interval shall be observed during the times of 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. Employees shall conform to such arrangements as the Employer may make to ensure continuity of operations.
Meal Interval a) An unpaid meal break of not less than thirty minutes shall be granted between the hours of 11.30am and 1.30pm. b) An employee shall not be required to work for more than five hours without a meal break.
Meal Interval. An Employer shall not require or permit an Employee to work continuously for more than five hours, without a meal interval, of not less than 30 minutes, during which interval, such Employee shall not be required or permitted to perform any work and such interval shall not form part of the ordinary hours of work or overtime.

Unless the period of overtime is less than one and a half hours an employee before starting overtime after working ordinary hours shall be allowed a meal break of twenty minutes which shall be paid for at ordinary rates. (c) The Company and employee may agree to any variation of this provision to meet the circumstances of the work in hand provided that the Company shall not be required to make any payment in respect of any time allowed in excess of twenty minutes. (d) For clarity purposes, the following is a summary of the Meal Breaks. Meal Interval. (a) A set meal interval shall be established in each depot by mutual agreement between the Company and employees which may be altered by the Company by giving one week's notice. An employee shall cease work for a meal interval of thirty (30) minutes on all working days, except Saturday and Sunday, between the hours of 11:30 am. and 1:00 p.m., inclusive. (b) An employee may be required to change the meal break to suit the requirements of the Company or client provided that an employee who has not completed the meal break after six (6) hours from the normal starting time on any day to suit the requirements of the Company or the client shall be paid at the appropriate penalty rates thereafter until a meal break is allowed. (c) All work that is undertaken through the lunch break must be approved by the Company after consultation with the Company’s Principal. If the principal approves work to be undertaken through the lunch break the employee will receive all entitlements as outlined in this agreement. Any unapproved work performed through the lunch will not be paid. All approved claims for work through lunch breaks must be signed by the person that approved the work on the day of approval.
Meal Interval a. Each Employee shall be granted a meal interval of not less than thirty (30) minutes to be commenced after completing one (1) hour and thirty (30) minutes of work and not later than five (5) hours of work. Provided that where it is not possible to grant the meal intervalon any day, the meal interval shall be treated as time worked and the Employee shall be paid at his or her applicable wage rate plus an additional payment of half-time to be calculated at the Employee's applicable wage rate until released for a meal interval. b. Where an Employee is required to work in excess of five (5) hours' after the first meal interval they shall be granted a further meal interval of twenty (20) minutes to be treated as time worked.
