Common use of Meal Allowance Clause in Contracts

Meal Allowance. When an employee is required to and does work for three (3) or more hours of overtime after his normal shift he shall be provided with a hot meal or five dollars ($5.00) if the Hospital is unable to provide the meal or has been unable to schedule a meal break during the overtime period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, where the overtime assignment is for a period of three (3) hours, no more or less, the employee is not required to take a hot meal, if available, and may claim the five dollars ($5.00) payment.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, ,where the overtime assignment is for a period of three (3) hours, no more or less, the employee is not required to take a hot meal, if available, and may claim the five dollars ($5.00) payment.

Meal Allowance. When an employee is required to and does work for three (3) or more hours of overtime after his normal shift he shall be provided with a hot meal or five dollars ($5.00) if the Hospital is unable to provide the meal or has been unable to schedule a meal break during the overtime period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, where the overtime assignment is for a period of three (3) hours, no more or less, the employee is not required to take a hot meal, if available, and may claim the five dollars ($5.00) payment.

When Full-Time and Part-Time If an employee is required to and does work for more than an extra continuous three (3) or more hours of overtime after his normal shift shift, he shall be provided with a hot meal or five six dollars ($5.006.00) if the Hospital is unable to provide the meal or has been unable to schedule a meal break during the overtime period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, where the overtime assignment is for a period of three (3) hours, no more or less, the employee is not required to take a hot meal, if available, and may claim the five dollars ($5.00) payment.
