Meal Allowance (Full-Time and Part-Time. When an employee is required to and does work for three (3) or more hours of overtime after his normal shift he shall be provided with a hot meal or five dollars ($5.00) if the Hospital is unable to provide the meal or has been unable to schedule a meal break during the overtime period. Notwithstanding the foregoing where the overtime assignment is for a period of three (3) hours no more or less the employee is not required to take a hot meal if available and may claim the five dollars ($5.00) payment. Part-time employees will qualify for ½ the allowance.
