MBE/WBE Status Sample Clauses

MBE/WBE Status a. A minority owned business shall be considered an MBE only if it has been certified as a minority business enterprise by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO). b. A woman owned business shall be considered a WBE only if it has been certified as a woman business enterprise by SDO. c. Certification as a disadvantaged business enterprise (“DBE”), certification as an MBE/WBE by any agency other than SDO, or submission of an application to SDO for certification as an MBE/WBE shall not confer MBE/WBE status on a firm for the purposes of this Contract. Please note that only firms SDO certified as MBE or WBEs can be credited toward meeting project MBE or WBE goals.
