Maximum SAR Period Clause Samples

The Maximum SAR Period clause defines the longest duration during which a Stock Appreciation Right (SAR) can be exercised after it has been granted. Typically, this period is set by the plan or agreement and may range from a few years up to a maximum, such as ten years, after the grant date. This clause ensures that SARs cannot be exercised indefinitely, providing a clear timeframe for both the company and the recipient, and helps manage the company's equity compensation obligations over time.
