MARINE DISASTER. An Officer who, while employed by the Company, suffers loss of clothing or other personal effects of any kind because of marine disasters or shipwreck, shall be compensated by the Company for such loss, up to a maximum of three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00). An Officer or his estate making a claim under this section shall submit reasonable proof to the Company of the actual loss he suffered. Any dispute between an Officer and a Company with respect to a claim made under subsection shall be subject to the grievance and arbitration procedures set forth in this agreement.
