MANUFACTURER’S SERVICES. The manufacturer of each item of each major piece of equipment or system shall provide a trained field representative to supervise the installation and testing of their equipment at the project site. The manufacturer’s field representative may also be allowed to provide a portion of the training specified in Subsection, if approved by the Employer’s Representative. The requirement for manufacturer’s field services shall also include the application of field applied coatings, as well as mechanical and electrical equipment.
