Mandatory Retirement Age. 6.4.1. On foot of one of the recommendations of a Report by an Interdepartmental Working Group, the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, with Public Service employers, was tasked to review the current statutory and operational considerations giving rise to barriers to extended participation in the public service workforce up to and including the current and planned age of entitlement to the Contributory State Pension. This review is expected to be completed shortly.

Mandatory Retirement Age. If, consistent with applicable age discrimination law, the Employer enforces a mandatory retirement age, the Normal Retirement Age shall be the earlier of (1) the date the Participant reaches such mandatory retirement age or (2) the date the Participant reaches age 65 or, if an alternative is specified in the Adoption Agreement, the date the Participant reaches Normal Retirement Age as specified in the Adoption Agreement.

Mandatory Retirement Age. An Employee who reaches the normal retirement age of 65, and who has given notice prior to December 31st to the Company and the Union that they do not wish to retire would continue working after age 65. The Employee would be required to have all required licenses in good standing, pass an annual medical physical administered by a Company physician at no cost to the Employee and pass a skills competency test. In no instance will an Employee be allowed to work beyond their 70th birthday.

  • Mandatory Retirement Retirement shall be mandatory only to the extent required by law.

  • Early Retirement Age Early Retirement Age is the later of: (i) the date a Participant attains age ; (ii) the date a Participant reaches the anniversary of the first day of the Plan Year in which the Participant commenced participation in the Plan; or (iii) the date a Participant completes Years of Service. [Note: The Employer should leave blank any of clauses (i), (ii) and (iii) which are not applicable.] If (f)(iii) is selected, “Years of Service” under this Election 34(f)(iii) means (Choose (1) or (2).):

  • Normal Retirement Age Normal Retirement Age shall mean the date on which the Executive attains age sixty-five (65).

If the Executive’s Separation from Service thereafter is a Termination with Cause or if this Agreement terminates under Article 5, no further benefits shall be paid.

  • Disability Retirement If, as a result of your incapacity due to physical or mental illness, You shall have been absent from the full-time performance of your duties with the Company for 6 consecutive months, and within 30 days after written notice of termination is given You shall not have returned to the full-time performance of your duties, your employment may be terminated for "Disability." Termination of your employment by the Company or You due to your "Retirement" shall mean termination in accordance with the Company's retirement policy, including early retirement, generally applicable to its salaried employees or in accordance with any retirement arrangement established with your consent with respect to You.
