Common use of Mandated Overtime Clause in Contracts

Mandated Overtime. No employee shall be mandated more than once in a twenty-four (24) hour period or required to provide more than sixteen (16) hours of consecutive service (exclusive of sleepovers). An employee required to stay on shift past sixteen (16) hours shall be compensated at the rate of two (2) times the basic rate of pay.
